Meet Kate

When her mother was diagnosed with dementia in 2010, Kate Kunkel set out on a quest to discover why this happened, how she could help her mother, and ensure that she herself would not succumb to this terrible syndrome.

What she learned inspired her to embark on what she considers the most important mission of her life - to make dementia a rare disease and to empower people to take control of their own health and future.

As a vegan nutritionist, mindfulness practitioner and sound therapist, Kate now helps people improve their health, sharpen their minds and save their brains from the devastation of cognitive decline. In her workshops, through coaching and in her latest book, "Don't Let the Memories Fade", Kate admonishes people to take control of their health because, she says, "It's never too early to look after your brain, but it can become too late."
